Kinda disappointed for the amount spent on something that should be in perfect shape as it is brand new. You can tell they don’t let the paint cure all the was and whoever paint them sucks because there are runs in the paint. Come on guys, do your job right! Should be made in china with that kind of quality. I hope they work better the they look.I received 4 boat stands. They seem very sturdy. The also look used. The wood top is chipped, dented, and has black stains. The orange metal flange below the top is thinly painted and the paint is chipped. The screw that extends from the base to raise the top is partly painted orange (it should not be). There is no safety chain hole in the metal flange below the top pad as appears in the description picture. On the other hand, the base has four legs rather than just three as shown in the description picture. This makes the base very stable. That said, they work well. They are sturdy and the screw mechanism is easy to use. The design of the pad allows it to adjust to the angle of the surface being supported. You might consider attaching a thin rubber mat to the top of the pad to protect the hull of the boat.I would recommend this with the caveat that the picture in the description is not accurate.handles a 22 ft bayliner no problem.great price will buy moreThese work great in just a few minutes the trailer was pulled out from under the boat. Screw jack easily lifted turning them by hand. Work great!Very sturdy and well built. The company shipping product needs to learn how to ship things better. Box was just thrown together with a crap load of tape. Poorly doneBrownell boat stands are the gold standard. Extremely strong, easy to use and durable - some of my stands are more than 20 years old and still work perfectly. These stands are great and balance my small 22' boat with ease. I have 2 of these, 2 KS-1 keel stands, and 2 MB-2 flat stands and you can rock the boat as hard as you can and it won't budge on the stands.
