Ok first things first - The planet ocean chrono is a beauty to look at and is one of the best chrono watches in the market today. It's a heavy duty one and I've had the pleasure of owning the predecessor which was released way back in 2007 (the orange bazel one). The biggest noticable difference between the two is the older version had three chronos whilst this one has two in addition to the fact that the current model is a bit heavier and bulkier.I have been looking at the buying this one and after comparing the price at various other sites realized the average works out to usd 6250. Which is really a whopping 1500 dollars more expensive on amazon. That's just unbelievable. So if u really want to pick this one three suggestions 1) visit a showroom and have a feel of it on your wrist (this is a watch for life) 2) see if the 232.30.46.51.01.003 is more to your liking (the digit 12 is in orange) or try the older version which isn't that bad and could be about 700 USD lesser (gross price) and finally 3) do your research on sites that sell the watch and find a reliable one if you intend to buy it. Am sure that some of them might not be reliable however please know that the omega stores would give you the same discount sometimes so don't feel shy asking the sales person for a heftier discount. 6250 should be the maximum you should pay for this.
