From the front it is everything you expect (and hope) it will be. Because it is moulded the design is very clear. The back of the design is flat, so you would be advised to locate/display it in front of a wall, rather than on a table that the viewer can get behind it, or with a mirror behind it. However, if I was to buy another sword, I would not hesitate to purchase a duplicate of this product from this seller. :)Great addition to your sword collection, good qualityThis product is sturdy and can hold a katana pretty snugly. The paint is also very good and consistent throughout. It really looks like a product that should be more expensive to be honest, very good pairing with a sword of Japanese origin.The product was completely intact when I got it. It's not amazing, but it's definitely good quality for the price, and looks exactly as pictured, and seems like it will be sturdy enough for the 40" katana I plan to use it to display. It smelled a bit like spray paint when I took it out of the package, which was my main reason for knocking off a star.
